Jet Star's tasty, mild-flavored fruit matures early with tremendous yields. Large, attractive globes have few scars or cracks. Indeterminate vines produce heavily. Gardeners rate this variety as excellent, especially for its superior, very pleasant taste. Not recommended for canning as Jet Star is low in acid. Mid-season. Indeterminate.
FYI
“Determinates” ripen over 3-4 weeks on bushy vines that usually need no staking. “Indeterminate” vines continue to grow and produce fruit all season until frost. The large vines need support. |
