A university study by Halvorsen et al (2006) analyzed the antioxidant content of commonly consumed foods. Researchers tested over 100 foods. Blackberries ranked the highest of all in per-serving cancer-fighting levels of antioxidants.
Natchez is a new variety developed by Dr. John R. Clark, fruit breeder from the University of Arkansas. This variety shows great promise for Oklahoma, and we hope to see good yields from this addition.
